As many of you have known, a certain website has been shut down by the FBI, causing panics everywhere for file sharing hosts to either cripple their service rendering it useless or closed completely. This has affected this website drastically because it depends on those service; even if the files were legit, they are now gone.

I have decided to suspend activities on this website for a month, you can still post in the chatbox and forums though. Ultimately, this will free up some of my already limited time to build a MMORPG which I've always wanted to do but didn't have the time. If you are bored and want to join, please PM me.

I am sorry that I am unable to help serve anime to you in the current state it is in. I hope you the best of luck in using some other alternatives. If you don't mind torrents I would recommend nyaa for public tracker and baka-bt for private tracker if you are willing to seed, which have great speeds.

I hope that we do not become a dystopian society.. El Psy Congroo.

@Noob: Torrent traffic is easy to track from anywhere around the world and to log and/or interdict at your internet provider. Apparently there is a public site in Russia that keeps records of torrent traffic and the Internet addresses involved, just to prove how non-anonymous it is.

Until now, every legal notice or action involving end users involved torrents.

Some folk have told me torrents are ok for them because of how their country's laws work.

One last note: Torrents open up additional charges of being someone who distributes material, not just someone who downloads, based on how torrents work.

Malware is an issue if you are downloading software to install or execute, not so much for media files.

@Noobdownloader Depe nds where you are, but due to recent events, they are probably monitoring more closely. Just like downloading anything really, just gotta know your sources.. nyaa is a start for public, and baka-bt for private.
